Petron fuels deliver extraordinary efficiency ratings
With the outstanding results obtained from the fuel efficiency benchmarking run
last year, the Department of Energy (DOE) once again tapped oil industry leader Petron
Corporation to be the official fuel of the DOE Eco Run 2017. Held last November 21, 2017
on a 216-kilometer route on the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) and TarlacPangasinan-La
Union Expressway (TPLEX), the run is part of the Philippine Energy
Standards and Labeling Program (PESLP), which has now expanded its coverage to light
duty motor vehicles. This also strengthens the DOE’s energy efficiency and conservation
e-power mo program.

YAMAHA TEAM PILIPINAS VICTORIOUS IN ACRR CAMPAIGNS
Yamaha Team Pilipinas had one goal in mind when they left for their National duties, showcase Philippine racing prowess in the ACRR(Asia Cup Road Racing). The racing series is an annual competition that is organized by FIM (Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme) Asia; where countries such as ours, Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, India, and Sri Lanka participate. Local Motorcycle governing bodies of each country send their national riders to compete in the international meet. Now after all the hard work and training, hours spent on the track with precious moments spent away from their loved ones; it all paid off for our riders.

Honda upgrades its TMX series with 2 new models
Tanauan City, Batangas, November 2, 2017 – Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) released two new models from
its best-selling business category– the Honda TMX series. HPI updated the series while taking pride in a 41-
year legacy of trusted quality and performance that generations of Filipinos have enjoyed. Now, Honda
brought new, class-leading technology to customers with the All-New TMX125α “DAPAT SA SUBOK NA!” and

rd Generation TMX Supremo “SUPREMO, TUNAY NA LAKAS!” Their engines were upgraded from Euro 2 to
Euro 3 compliance without the usual compromise in their power and torque, in fact, with Honda’s technology,
these were maintained in the All-New TMX125α. Meanwhile, the 3rd Generation TMX Supremo improved its
power by 5 percent and its torque by 0.2 percent. The Air Suction Valve (ASV) in the engine and the catalyzers
in the mufflers produce cleaner emissions to adhere to the Philippine government’s regulation standards for
environmental conservation. These new models also upgraded body and design features to increase their
suitability to take on the needs of tricycle drivers, businesses, and even the demands of solo riders.

YAMAHA REVPINAS FESTIVITIES CONTINUE IN DUMAGUETE
The “pambansang piyesta” continues the revelry it started and has reached the beautiful city of Dumaguete. The inflated theme park made its debut at the Buglasan Festival and was officially opened by the festival Co-Director, Dr. Nichol R. Elman alongside Yamaha staff. There was a parade around the city included Yamaha’s own Revvy Bear with 138 riders from Yamaha Clubs Mxi and the All Mio Club.
